Plot:-
Fury tells the story of US Army Sergeant Don Wardaddy (Brad Pitt ) and his crew comprising Boyd Bible Swan ( Shia LaBeouf ) , A gunner :, Grady "Coon-Ass" Travis (Jon Bernthal), loader; and Trini "Gordo" Garcia (Michael Peña), driver who invade Germany at April 2015 during World War II but when when the assist gunman in their crew gets killed , they force an army typist Norman Elsion (Logan Lerman) for the job but the problem is he barely knows what war is.
Performances:-
Brad Pitt - Pitt did a neat job as Sergeant Wardaddy , His role is feature length , he appears in the film right from the start to the end but yet he just looked like any other Army Sergeant.
Shia LaBeouf - With major changes in his looks and body language , Shia LaBeaouf stands exceptional among the cast despite being given a sidekick role , He stand out as the among the actors as the others just looked ordinary.
Logan Lerman - May be his performance is good for a lesser known actor.
Others are Adequate in their roles.
Technicalities:-
Cinematography - Roman Vasyanov did a great job with his camera , the action scenes looked as Bright as the spark from a Machine gun and thick as cold blood.
Editing - Well it seems the Editor Dody Dorn has tried his best to cut the scenes as sharp as possible .. and the final output is decent.
Music Composing - Steven Prince's Background score in final moments of the film is commendable considering that those scenes portrayed soldiers fighting till their death , he indeed kept the audience horrified in the end.
Special Effects - The special effects just brought the exact same thing that happened during World War II , Dead Bodies getting crushed by Tanks just like a Human crushes a Insect nowadays , That graphic violence looked pretty real and brutal enough to bring the horrific scenario to the silver screen.
Writing and Direction - David Ayer :-
Ayer's last film Sabotage bombed at the box office , his script for Fury however was decent and his directional skills have improved.
Plus :-
Shia Labeouf's performance
Graphic violence that brought the horror of war to screen
Background score in Climax
Minus:-
A few unnecessary scenes
The love angle
Boring regulars in war films.
The Final Word:-
Fury is a one time watchable for its realistic war scenes and good acting but just falls short of expectations.
Rating - 7/10
