PLOT :-
Seenu (Karthi) who is disowned by his own family as he is a criminal, now has to involve himself in social service to prove in court that he has changed, while doing so he becomes the caretaker of a Quadriplegic Millionaire Vikram (Nagarjuna Akkineni) . The film is all about how these two Men help solve each others problem .
PERFORMANCES :-
After attracting much flak for weird choice of actors in Bangalore Naatkal. PVP Cinemas has signed up actors who are tailor made for their roles. Nagarjuna & Karthi should be appreciated for doing a feel good emotions driven film like Thozha where there is no place for heroism and funny punch dialogues. Not just that, both actors have given their best such that we can't imagine anyone else in these roles. Late Actress Kalpana also has a small supporting role here, her character will be remembered for a long time . Prakash Raj is good as usual, Tammanah's role is actually much much better than many roles she had in recent times, Anushka & Shriya also we're apt in their guest roles.
TECHNICALITIES :-
The film's rich production values gives a feel of watching a Hollywood film often. PS Vinod had shot plenty of eye catchy visuals. Editing by Praveen KL is good. Lyrics for the title track and few more songs we're good . Gopi Sundar's songs are average but his background score has compensated for those flaws.
SCRIPT & DIRECTION :-
The French Original "Intouchables" was a nice film, but If it was remade frame by frame, it would have bored our audience to death. Thankfully Director Vamshi has adapted it well for our local sensibilities. Through Karthi's role, even B & C center audience can connect with the film. Added humor was a big plus. Though the 2nd half was a little slower compared to the 1st half, its still a satisfying film as Vamshi has the crafted the emotional scenes better.
THUMBS UP :-

THUMBS DOWN :-
2 unnecessary songs in 2nd half
2nd half was comparatively slower than 1st half

Overall : Those who want emotional entertainment in a more realistic form rather than silly circus gimmicks can definitely try this. The other mad fanatics can go to their home screens, watch Lingaa, Sura, Azhwar, Alex Pandian, Bhai etc. and suffer .
Rating : 8/10
